It was fun coming up with metaphors to illustrate for our Digital Imagiing class. I could think of many but found these two fun to illustrate. I’m sure you can guess what metaphors these two represent.

Pipe dreams
I had heard the expression many times but after looking it up realized that the reference to unrealistic dreams people have being ‘pipe dreams’ refers to when people used to smoke opium in pipes and hallucinated!
